4th Street Auto and Tire is where I have come for flat tires. I have had one flat tire due to an embedded screw that they were able to repair for me and a blown out tire that they replaced for me. I went there because my esc warning light turned on. Got charged around 300 after I paid I went in my car and the light was still on. Edit: after talking to the owner and manager they refunded the amount of the esc light inspection and were responsive to my problems.

I'm really glad I found 4th Street Auto & Tire. I've been here a few times now, and every experience has been great. They're super responsive, helpful, and have always been able to see me right away. My car is older, so I thought it might be done for, but Jim is a very straightforward, honest mechanic and told me it would be fine. He was right, and I'm very happy. They've given me great deals and have even given me rides home, which I really appreciate. They've helped me with multiple repairs, including a steering rack replacement, fixing a power steering leak, securing my passenger side inner fender liner when it came loose, and most recently replacing my radiator and water pump. These are good, honest mechanics you can feel comfortable going back to. They're my go to guys now. Highly recommend this place. Thank you 4th Street Auto for all your help!

Got stranded with bad breaks on my Jeep. Googled a good mechanic and i was able to speak to Tim from 4th st. Auto & Tire. I explained the situation and how im 40 miles away from home and needed new brakes asap. Tim was able to help despite it was almost closing time. I pulled in, Tim and his crew replaced brake pads quickly and professionally. This shop truly cares about customers. Id definitely go back there.

Brought our car in when it started making a weird noise on the tire. They diagnosed it, gave us an estimate and also let us know some other stuff that was wrong with the car. They fixed it fast, charged a reasonable price and didn't push us to fix the other stuff that wasn't needed right away. Would definitely recommend this shop!

These guys are the best! I went for a tire patch on my Alfa Romeo Stelvio, they gave me a price on all 4 new tires! They beat all tire quotes I had for a full set of 4 new tires by $100 and took the patch fix off my bill when I purchased 2 days later! They got me in and out in just over an hour! I love this local shop and highly recommend them! Amazing service from an excellent and caring team. This crew saved us when moving our daughter down to college and her drive belt needed replacing upon arrival. The service here was great. I had all new brakes, tires and an alignment done. The service advisor, I can't remember his name now, but he was very honest in his findings on my car. I didn't at all get the feeling that they were trying to take advantage or sell me Services I didn't need. As a woman that owns a luxury vehicle, this is very important. I was able to drop off the car in the afternoon and they were done the same day before closing. Oh yea, I also had an oil change and several filters replaced. Overall, a very positive experience.

Stumbled upon this place being a newer resident to Long Beach and suddenly acquiring a flat rear for my vehicle. I was hesitant bringing it anywhere besides my normal mechanic, but I knew it needed to be close to avoid extremely costly wheel damage. Seriously couldn't speak higher about Jacob and his team. Being a younger gentleman with an extremely expensive car (especially for the area), I become a bit skeptical as to whether or not I am receiving fair pricing for vehicle related services. Jacob literally took my car in, fixed the flat and did not touch or move the car out of respect for my car. He also took the time to show and give me the nail that was in the car, while explaining the future signs of wear for my tires. Oh and the best part...all for $30. He's one of the good ones seriously wouldn't think twice about bringing my cars here. I see why his lot is always busy now...will be back soon.

I've found my auto shop for life! These guys are so on point, they're warm and friendly on the phone, no nonsense or ridiculous upselling and when I needed a little extra something adjusted, they were so happy to oblige without breaking my bank! Manager Jacob Hinckley is wonderful to deal with, and I'm gonna go back and have him quote all the little maintenance updates that I need for my car Look for the orange UHaul trucks to know where to turn in. I guess they might rent those out, too. 4th Street Auto has quite a large lot, so there's space to park. You can tell they're pretty busy all the time, but they still made time to squeeze me in first thing Saturday morning, and got me back on the road in no time. Plus, they have a fish tank in their waiting room and even a couple of chairs outside to chill and wait. The smog check shop right directly across from them is also a very clean, fast and nice business! Check them out on 4th Street! Highly recommend.

Jim was very accommodating over the phone and had a great attitude every time I called to set-up (or reschedule) a drop off appointment. I needed my truck diagnosed & repaired in 1 day, if possible, and Jacob did everything he could to accommodate my time-sensitive request. He also applied a public servant discount towards my total cost of repair, which was sincerely appreciated. As a woman with a problematic car that seems to suck up 1k each year for repairs, I've worked with a fair share of mechanics, and these guys are great!
